Imagine Live is an upcoming 60 minute stage adaptation of Alison Lester’s best selling book, created and produced by the multi-award winning team behind ‘Robot Song’.
Imagine presents universal themes around the natural environment, intergenerational relationships and of course the profound power of creativity.
Just like the book, performers play and sing through the pages, creating scenes from house-hold items that magically transform before your eyes. Imagine, Live will be a large-scale live multi screen performance, supported by a stunning original musical score and powered by cutting edge digital puppetry.
The live show will be driven by a design and technical engine powered by Adobe Character Animator, giving the book’s iconic illustrations the ability to react and respond to the audience in real time.
Designed with touring in mind, Imagine will be built to adapt to regional and metropolitan audiences, scaling comfortably between smaller festival stages and National Arts Centres.
